In late 2021, I started a graduate program in oceanography and climate science, with a specific focus on fundamental problems in cryosphere research. My research involves the computational modeling of ice sheets and alpine glaciers, and my current focus is on building statistical methods to better understand uncertainty invoked in such models. I am interested also in the policy aspects of future adaptation strategies, be it in coastal regions or mountain environments.

Otherwise, I am usually climbing, writing/researching for a novella, practicing music or learning to fly.
